Golden Pearls

Description

Golden Pearls are a popular reef food, but have grown in popularity recently as a freshwater fry food.

A popular replacement for live foods for the home aquarium, marine and tropical commercial breeders as well as corals.  Manufactured to trap tiny air pockets within the granules to maintain buoyancy within the water column to mimic live plankton moving in the current.

We have Golden Pearls in the following sizes:

• 200-300 micron
  • Mysis replacement
  • Fry food for egg layers
• 300-500 micron
  • Artemia replacement, which average 400 micron
  • Fry food of choice for breeders who do not want to hatch live foods
• 500-800 micron
  • Live feed replacement
  • Slightly larger than newly hatched napuli or brine shrimp
  • Use to step up particle size or for larger fry that would be started on live brine shrimp
  • Fry food for angelfish, discus, most Tetras
