We are now offering the same brine shrimp eggs we use in our hatchery to our customers.  We receive new batches of eggs every month so they are always very fresh.  These are all premium grade with a guaranteed hatch rate in excess of 90%.   Available in 30 gram or 100 gram pouches.  You can be assured if they are being used for our breeding operation they are the best you can get.  Our eggs are packed in a re-sealable pouch.  Always packed fresh for your order.

Hatching Instructions
*Hatch rate increases with pH. Must be above 7.0 to hatch, at 8.0 or higher will produce the best hatch rate

*Salinity should be 1.018 – 1.023 specific gravity. Use non-iodized or kosher salt as iodine will kill the eggs. 1 tablespoon per liter (quart) of water  can be a little more and it won’t effect it at all.

*Light is recommended during the incubation period but not required

*Ideal hatching temperature is 80-82F / 26-28C. Do not exceed 86F / 30C.

*Strong aeration is recommended for the best hatch rate

*Density of eggs should not exceed 2 grams per liter of salted water (1 teaspoon per 2 liters (quart)).

*Incubation period: 18 – 24 hours
